Garlic Butter Chicken Breast

Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper freshly ground, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika divided

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for searing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, remaining paprika, Italian seasoning, parsley, and minced garlic until well combined.
  • Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from the oven and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chicken. Garnish with extra parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes before cooking. This dish pairs well with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
