Classic Meatloaf

Ingredients
  

Meatloaf

  • 2 lbs ground beef 80/20 preferred
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 onion small, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup divided
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, half of the ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  • In a small bowl, mix glaze ingredients and spread over the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 55–60 minutes or until fully cooked. Let rest before slicing.

Notes

You can customize this meatloaf with optional add-ins like vegetables, cheese, or different proteins for varied flavor.
