Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter natural
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch cinnamon or chili powder optional
  • melted dark chocolate optional, for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, cocoa powder, and optional cinnamon or chili powder.
  • Add the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is fully combined.
  • Fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls using your hands or a small cookie scoop.
  • Place the power balls on a plate or baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until firm.
  • Drizzle with melted dark chocolate if desired and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Store the power balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for up to three months. They make an excellent grab-and-go snack or healthy dessert.
