  • Pizza Pan
  • Oven

Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose or bread flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast 1 packet
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Sauce

  • 1 cup sausage gravy or substitute with marinara, cream cheese spread, or hollandaise sauce

Toppings

  • 4-5 large eggs scrambled, baked, or sunny-side up
  • 1 1/2-2 cups shredded cheese mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend
  • 4-5 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup breakfast sausage cooked
  • 1 cup hash browns or potatoes cooked

Optional Vegetables

  • 1 cup spinach or kale lightly sautéed
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers diced
  • 1/4 cup onion thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado sliced, for serving

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let stand for 5–10 minutes until foamy. Add flour, olive oil, and salt, then knead until a smooth dough forms.
  • Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out the dough and transfer it to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet.
  • Spread the sausage gravy (or your preferred sauce) evenly over the dough.
  • Top with cheese, bacon, sausage, hash browns, eggs, and any desired vegetables.
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted. If using whole eggs, ensure they are cooked to your preferred doneness.
  • Remove from the oven, top with fresh avocado slices if desired, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Customize your breakfast pizza with your favorite cheeses, vegetables, or breakfast meats. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer for the best texture.
